Indian Students Foreign Visa: In the past years, even though the international travel of people has been affected due to Corona. Whether it is from the point of view of tourism or employment, everything has declined. But you will be surprised to know that in the last 11 months, Indian students have made a record in going abroad. In the last 11 months, a record number of Indian students have gone abroad with visas. According to the data provided by the Bureau of Immigration, till 30 November 2022, 6,48,678 students have gone abroad on student visa. Which is very high as compared to the last 05 years.

According to the records of the Bureau of Immigration, a record number of Indians went abroad in 2019, in which more than 2.52 crore Indians went to different countries for various purposes. At the same time, the number of people going abroad till November 30 in 2022 is 1.83 crore. According to the data, international travel for jobs has increased in West Asian countries. Statistics show that if 6.17 lakh Indians went to Canada in the year 2019, then in the first 11 months of 2022 this number has reached 6.60 lakh. Similarly, till November 30, 2022, 7.54 lakh Indians have gone to Britain, whereas in 2019 this number was 7.45 lakh.

Speaking to The Hindu, S. Irudaya Rajan, president of the International Institute of Migration and Development, Kerala, has said that it is true that students are migrating from the country to foreign countries. The number of youth going abroad is more. He said that students are going to study in colleges and universities in Canada, Australia, UK and US, this will have an impact on the economic development of the country.
